Kai Nargolwala

Chairman

Kai S. Nargolwala is currently serving as the Chairman of the organisation and also serves as the Chairman on the Boards of Singapore Pools (Private) Limited, 65 Equity Partners Pte. Ltd., and Pentagreen Capital Pte. Ltd. He is also on the Boards of PSA International Pte Ltd and Manipal Health Enterprises Pvt Ltd.

Kai's career spans several decades in various industries and regions. He previously served on the Boards of several listed companies, such as Credit Suisse Group AG, Prudential PLC, Standard Chartered PLC, Singtel, and Tate & Lyle PLC. At various times over the last 30 years, Kai has also helmed the Asian businesses of Bank of America, Standard Chartered, and Credit Suisse before retiring from executive roles at the end of 2011.

Kai was the Founding Chairman of Clifford Capital Holdings, a company guaranteed by the Singapore Government. He was also the former Chairman of Prudential Corporation Asia Limited and Duke-NUS Medical School Governing Board. He has also served as a Board member of the Casino Regulatory Authority of Singapore and was a member of Visa International's Asia Pacific Advisory Board. In recognition of his service to Singapore, Kai was awarded the Public Service Star (Bintang Bakti Masyarakat) at the National Day Awards 2019.

Kai is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, as well as the Singapore Institute of Directors. He earned his Honors Degree in Economics from the University of Delhi.
